Public Outreach Campaign Planning & Implementation
Zeldesign was selected by City of Los Angeles Department of Transportation (LADOT) to develop and implement its pilot strategy of community engagement on Vision Zero projects.
Our engagement efforts covered four High Injury Network (HIN) corridors in the City of Los Angeles. Activities included ongoing traffic-safety promotion at events, stakeholder presentations and door-to-door canvassing. Our Media Strategy combined Paid, Owned and Earned Media with an emphasis on Spanish and English Radio, Digital Ads and Social Media. Our work focused on creating awareness and mobilization at the corridor level, while referencing citywide brand awareness and safety messaging.
Our graphic communication deliverables included brand development for the newest addition to LADOT’s traffic safety initiatives: Safe Routes for Seniors, targeting the population aged 60 and above.
